A man has died after a suspected shooting, police said.
The victim was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds at a property in St Mary's Street, Southampton, at 11am on Saturday.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital in a life-threatening condition but later died, Hampshire Constabulary said.
Detectives have launched an investigation and are at the scene to identify possible witnesses and preserve evidence. Road closures and diversions were put in place around St Mary's Street.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to call the force's major investigation team on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
